Charles F. Specht
I am a 1974 graduate of Iroquois High School. I received by bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University in 1978. After graduation, I worked for Resser Management Company before joining the Fiduciary Tax Department at Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC Bank). I was a Vice-President of Operations in the Investment Management Division of HSBC Bank until 1991 when I left to serve as business and office manager for Deborah A. Specht, P.T.
I am proud and feel fortunate to have attended Iroquois. My wife Nora and I wished to provide the best possible educational opportunities for our children and shortly after the birth of our 3rd son, we returned to the Iroquois School District in 1997. Our eldest son is a 2006 graduate of Iroquois and we have a freshman in the high school as well as a 7th grader in the middle school. As such, I am committed to maintaining the superior educational standards and staff our children have benefitted from and we have come to expect at Iroquois. As an active participant while in high school, I also believe music, the arts and athletics are equally as important in providing a well rounded education.
I have worked and supported many Iroquois School events over the years. As an officer of the Iroquois Football Boosters Club, along with the help of the community and support of the school, we have been able to significantly upgrade our facilities (field lights, new scoreboard and sound system, concession stand, bleachers, etc.) I have also served on the EMW Football and Cheerleading Board of Directors and currently serve as a director on the St. Bonaventure University Rugby Alumni Board. I am also active in Annunciation parish, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and along with my wife, facilitate marriage preparation for engaged couples and are lead couple for Mission.
