Thomas DiScipio
This community is important to me. We moved to Elma in 1976 when I was 5 years old. I attended Iroquois Schools through 8th grade. My college years took me away from here but my wife Kris and I returned home in 2005 when our son Alex reached school age. It was essential for us to raise him in this community and to have him educated in the Iroquois School District.
I am the Vice President of Surface America, which is a national leader in the recreational surfacing market. In my line of business I deal with many large school districts and thus have a real understanding of the challenges facing them today. Through business I have developed a strong background in negotiations and team building.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from RIT and a Masters in Business Administration from UB.
Through the years I volunteered for organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Junior Achievement, and Baker Victory, as well as coached EMW baseball.
Serving on the Iroquois Board of Education is an honor for me. I promise to do the right thing for our kids and our community.
