Dan also has had real experience in the dynamics of a school, having worked at the Stanley G. Falk School for students with special learning and behavioral needs. For years, he was able to counsel, mentor, guide students with learning and emotional disabilities while having a positive impact on students and their families.
As a board member, Dan will bring his skills as an effective communicator, consensus builder, organizer, decision maker, and active community member to create a positive and fiscally responsible plan to improve the education for Iroquois students. He hopes to facilitate a shared vision among administrators, faculty, parents, community members, and local businesses to achieve this goal.
"During these challenging times for public education," Dan says, "I feel that I can be an asset to the community. Having what's in the best interest for our children as a priority is the key to my motivation. Our educators are highly qualified professionals who want what is best for children on a daily basis. I am here to support them in furthering the development of our children. "
