Hi...My name is Roxanne Slade and I am one of four physical education teachers at Iroquois Middle School. I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where I received my teaching degree in physical education and health and was a member of the softball team. I received my masters degree in sports administration from the United States Sports Academy. My teaching and coaching career started in the Holley Central School District where I taught high school physical education, grade 7 health and coached jv girls soccer, modified and jv girls basketball and varsity softball. In 1995 I was lucky enough to come back home to my Alma Mater, Iroquois, where I was hired by Mr. Chuck Funke to teach middle school physical education and coach varsity girls volleyball and modified softball. I am currently the Grade 7 SGB Advisor and girls modified volleyball and softball coach. I am very proud to be an Iroquois Chief...I hope you are too!
