Dear Erie County Chorus Students and Parents:

      Congratulations on being selected for the Erie County Chorus!  There many students who auditioned for 5 openings.  Students will represent our school so they must be not only good singers but also good citizens.

     Please read over this information carefully and inform Mrs. Kloc of any problems as soon as possible so we can send an alternate if your child is not able to participate.  The music will be given to Mrs. Kloc the second week in January and she will pass it on to our students in our first rehearsal in February.  The students will need to attend after school rehearsals with Mrs. Kloc in order to prepare the music for the concert.  These rehearsals will be held in room 412 in the MS. (If after school activities are cancelled due to weather, the students would go home at the regular dismissal time.)

Here is the schedule:   Mon., Jan 29^th - 2:35- 3:45pm in room 412                                  

                                             Mon., Feb 5^th - 2:35- 3:45pm in room 412

                                             Mon., Feb 12^th  - 2:35- 3:45pm in room 412

                                             Mon., Feb 26^th - 2:35- 3:45pm in room 412

            Students will need rides home after these rehearsals or they may go to Boys and Girls Club, if they are members.  Students will meet their parents at the MS front door immediately following rehearsals.  There are no late buses.

           They will need transportation to and from our school for the following rehearsals.  (Our school will provide transportation from school to Sweet Home for these rehearsals.) 

* Saturday, Mar 3rd - from about 7:45am until 3:30pm

*Wednesday, Mar 14th - from about 3:30 pm until 7:45pm                                                                                        

*Friday, Mar 16th - from 12:30 (they will leave from school) -5:15 pm 

****Students may not miss any of these rehearsals in bold type or they will not be allowed to perform in the concert. 

             Concert:  Red Chorus and Elem Orchestra - Saturday, March 17^th   beginning at 1:30pm. 

(at Kleinhans Music Hall)  Students need their own transportation to and from the concert.

        The times for all of these rehearsals will be in the music folders each of the students will receive along with busing, ticket, recording and T-shirt information.

     If you have any questions please call me at 652-3000 ext. 6412; I will return your call as soon as possible.  Please check your calendars carefully for these dates and notify me of any conflicts as soon as possible.  Remember students may not miss any rehearsals (or parts of rehearsals) beginning Mar. 3rd.  WE CAN SEND ALTERNATES IF WE KNOW OF CONFLICTS BEFORE JAN 21st.
