    Classroom Rules and Procedures

    RESPECT
     
    • Respect the teacher
      Respect your fellow classmates
    • Respect the room and its equipment

    READINESS
     
    • Be ready for the class. This means having the right materials for class, along with being on time.

    RESULTS
    • Producing quality work in order to be successful.

    Procedure for failure to follow the classroom rules:

    • Warning
    • Teacher to student conference
    • Parent conference 
    • Separation
    • Referrals to the office
    Positive Reinforcement:

    Classroom or computer free-time  
     
    My classroom procedures are simple. They are as follows:

    1. Enter the room in a civilized and respectful manner.

    2. Quietly take your seats.

    3. Review and follow the instruction on the board for your class (If any).

    4. Complete board instructions or wait for teacher instructions. If you’re ahead of the class

        assignments SEE ME.

    5. Cleanup (if necessary) is 5 – 10 minutes before the bell rings (this depends on the class)

      

    Grading Rubric for Class Assignments

    Rubric  

    PLANNING - A scheme, program, or method worked out beforehand for the accomplishment of an objective.

    QUALITY - a measure of excellence or a state of being free from defects, deficiencies and significant variations.

    CREATIVITY - the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful.

    EFFORT - struggle, striving. Effort, application, endeavor, exertion imply actions directed or force expended toward a definite end.

     

    Grading
    Grades are broken down into percentages.
     
    Projects = 40%
     
    Classwork = 30%
     
    Participation / Attendance = 30%
