- Ask Questions. Pay attention in class and ask questions at the appropriate time. Write questions down so you don't forget to ask them later.
- Make note of what you do not understand - concepts, phrases, words or problems. Do not be afraid to ask in class. Other students may have the same question(s).
- Stay focused in class. Visualizing what you are learning can help you stay on task.
- Be prepared when you come to class. Check the syllabus to know what the day's material is. Be sure that your homework is complete.
- Take notes. Sometimes summarizing them after class can help with future studying.
- Seek your teacher out when you have any questions and/or need guidance with papers, projects, and test preparation.
