Curriculum

The Iroquois Central School District continues its long history of providing academically challenging, relevant learning experiences in a supportive and welcoming environment.  Our Vision, Mission and Belief statements highlight the commitment to the students, staff, and community.

We offer a rigorous, engaging UPK-12 curriculum aligned with the New York State standards.  Additionally, we provide student support through our MTSS [Multi-tiered Systems of Support], ELL [English Language Learner] and Special Education programs.

Technology is integrated with research-based curricular resources to provide the students with multi-faceted approaches for learning.  We provide each student with their own Windows platform laptop.  This helps to expand opportunities for learning to students as they build foundational skills to prepare them for work or school.

Our staff regularly participate in extensive learning opportunities during the school year and over the summer.  The courses are designed to help teachers hone their instructional skill and content knowledge.  These are created in conjunction with the faculty and using pertinent data analysis.

The Iroquois tradition of creating student-centered learning experiences academically, socially, and emotionally is the focus of our work.  It prepares our students for their future and strengthens our community.
