     Welcome to the Fitness Club homepage!  The Fitness Club is a club held after school to provide all students grades 5-8 an opportunity to learn about the benefits of working out in our Fitness Center, gym, track and Cross Country trails.  The Club is also meant to inform students of the benefits of eating healthy and will be provided healthy snacks once a month to taste test and hopefully talk to their families about.  (Please make sure your child tells me of any food allergies they may have).
    The Fitness Club will meet on different days for each of the Cohorts. COHORT A will meet the 1st and 3rd TUESDAY of each month and COHORT B will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. There may be days that the Club is cancelled due to a meeting or Holiday so please have your child listen to the announcements for any changes.
    Kids in the Kitchen: This program is offered to students on a first come, first served basis designed to teach them about healthy eating.  It is a FIVE week course that allows the students to prepare their own food while learning about the Nutritional benefits of each ingredient.  We are currently on a waiting list but may be chosen to be taught Virtually!  I'll keep you all posted!
