• Bright Minds Club Overview:

The Bright Minds Club in the Middle School was created with several goals in mind:

    • To provide students with opportunities to develop problem solving skills related to fields of science, math, engineering and apply these skills in hands-on, inquiry based projects
    • To promote an interest in these subject areas so students continue into high school pursuing opportunities to advance their learning in these subjects
    • To develop students’ confidence and feelings of success
    • To develop teamwork skills

The group is comprised of 6th-8th graders and is advised by 3 Middle School teachers in Math and Science subject areas.  Feel free to contact any of us with questions, Sandra Ferger at sferger@iroquoiscsd.org Alycia Pici at apici@iroquoiscsd.org and Amy Nicosia at anicosia@iroquoiscsd.org.

We generally meet once a month, the second Thursday of the month, however this is subject to change based on student and teacher schedules.  For up to date meeting information, refer to the meeting date tab.  Students will also be notified of any necessary materials that should be brought to the next meeting for an upcoming project.
