If you are a student and you would like to join the GSA you can come to any meeting (see calendar) and/or send Ms. Persinger a message on Teams to be added to our Team.

The GSA is a school club in which students can talk and learn about sexual orientation, gender identity, and some of the issues that surround them.

The GSA functions as any other extracurricular club with faculty advisors, club officers and regular meetings.

Everyone is welcome-lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ+) students, as well as straight students, students with LGBTQ+ families, and students who don't have or need a label for their sexual orientations of gender identities.

GSAs, which are protected under the federal Equal Access Act, play a crucial role in making schools safer for LGBTQ+ students by providing supportive and accepting places.
