Superintendent's Message 1/13/2025

Dear Iroquois Family,

Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of January 13th:

Board of Education

The Board of Education has begun developing the budget for the 2025-2026 school year. A Budget Work Session was held before the regular meeting last week. The presentation is available on our website at: https://www.iroquoiscsd.org/our-district/business-office/2025-2026-school-budget-information.   There will be updates provided during the February Board meeting. The next scheduled work session is March 12^th at 6:00PM in the Middle School.  This precedes the regular Board meeting at 7:00PM.

 

For Parents to Know

There have been recent news reports of a data breach involving school districts that use Power School as their student management system.  Please know that Iroquois does NOT use Power School and is not affected in any way.  We use ESchool as our student management system; Iroquois student data is safe and secure and not compromised in any way.

Reminder:  There is no school on Monday January 20^th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and no school on Wednesday January 29^th in observance of the Lunar New Year.  This is a new holiday.

 

Athletics

Iroquois had 5 fall athletes receive Section 6 All-WNY Scholar Athlete and 14 receive Honorable Mention.  Stay tuned for names to be released in the coming weeks.
