Dear Iroquois Family,
Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of January 27th:
There is NO SCHOOL this Wednesday January 29th in observance of Lunar New Year.
For Parents to Know
2025-26 Universal Preschool and Kindergarten Registrations are now being accepted!
Please go to the Registration Page on the Iroquois Website at www.Iroquoiscsd.org for information and procedures.
UPK INFORMATION:
Students eligible for UPK must have birthdays between December 2, 2020 and December 1, 2021.
· You must be a legal resident of the District and meet the UPK age requirement to register for a UPK seat during open registration, January-February 28, 2025
· The UPK program is a free full-day program M-F from 9am-3pm
· No wrap-around child-care is provided by the district.
· The program follows the school district calendar
· Transportation is not provided for UPK students, families must provide transportation
· As registrations are received, the students are assigned a number. If the number of registrants exceeds the number of seats, a random lottery will be held in March.
§ Students whose numbers are picked are assigned seats in their home school, until all the seats are filled.
§ If no seats are available in the home school, the student is assigned to another primary school in the district with open seats.
§ If seats become available, they will be filled throughout the year based on the lottery.
§ Parents will be notified of the lottery results in April
KINDERGARTEN INFORMATION:
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by December 1st, 2025.
Kindergarten registration should be completed by the end of March 2025 to properly plan for kindergarten screening which is held in May. However, kindergarten registration is ongoing and may be done anytime during the year.

Family Support Center
Iroquois Family Support Center is excited to announce their partnership with Horizon’s Health Services to provide in school counseling services. Horizon’s Health Services offers individual and family counseling services (on site or via telehealth). Horizon’s utilized multiple modalities of therapy to improve symptoms of anxiety and depression while developing coping skills to alleviate struggles with mood regulation, school adjustment or peer relationships. Performing Arts
This Wednesday, January 29th, five of our 8th Grade Drama Club students (Emmet, Liam, Maggie, Rose, and Ryan) will be guests on Daytime Buffalo WIVB Channel 4 to discuss their participation in our upcoming production of Something Rotten Jr. The program will air at 3pm on Wednesday. Be sure to tune in!
