Superintendent's Message 2/3/2025

Dear Iroquois Family,

Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of February 3rd:

Our phone system is currently experiencing some intermittent issues. If you try calling a school, your call may be automatically routed to our main switchboard. From there, the switchboard operator will direct your call to the appropriate school. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work with our phone provider to resolve these issues.

Board of Education

Prospective School Board Members--The Iroquois Central School District Board of Education is comprised of seven members who are elected to serve a 5-year term. On June 30, 2025, the 5-year term of Mrs. Jane Sullivan will expire.

Residents interested in running for the Board may pick up a petition and informational packet from the District Clerk in room #33 of the Intermediate Building (enter at the front door).  As per Education Law, all prospective candidates must obtain a minimum of 25 valid signatures, which represents two percent of the 2023-2024 total vote count.

Qualified candidates must be a resident of the district for at least one year prior to the election, a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age, able to read and write, and not an employee of the district.

Petitions must be returned to the office of the District Clerk by 5:00PM on Monday April 21, 2025.  This year’s election will be held on May 20, 2025.

For Parents to Know

Performing Arts

The Middle School Drama Club wrapped up a successful weekend of performances, bringing to life the musical Something Rotten, Jr. in front of enthusiastic audiences. From the vibrant costumes and set designs to the captivating acting, singing, and dancing, the students truly shined on stage. Their hard work and dedication over the past few months paid off, as their performances received rave reviews from parents, teachers, and fellow students. A huge thank you goes out to everyone involved—students, teachers, parents, and volunteers—for their time, commitment, and effort in making this production such a memorable experience for our community. Your hard work behind the scenes and on stage made all the difference!
