Superintendent's Message 4/28/2025
Dear Iroquois Family,
Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of April 28th:
With spring upon us, we hope you can join us for our Middle School Chorus Concert tomorrow evening at 7:00PM in the Middle School. We also have our High School Orchestra Concert this Thursday, May 1st at 7:30PM in the High School. Our talented musicians and singers are sure to impress us all!
Board of Education
· The Iroquois Board of Education, in partnership with district administrators, has been working diligently to present a fair and balanced budget—one that maintains the high-quality education our district is known for. You can find detailed budget information on our website: 2025-2026 Budget Information.
· The Annual Budget Hearing will take place on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:30 PM in the Middle School, followed by the monthly Board of Education meeting at 7:00 PM.
· A reminder that the Annual Budget Vote will be held on Tuesday, May 20th from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM in the Intermediate School gym.
· Applications for early mail-in ballots and absentee ballots are available on our website. There is one open seat on the Board of Education and five candidates. For Parents to Know
· Iroquois Key Club is collecting new and gently used dresses for their Pre-Prom Gala Event, which takes place in May. If you have a dress to donate, please bring it to the High School foyer. Contact Mrs. McCoy at cmccoy@iroquoiscsd.org with any questions.
· The Annual District Art Show has a new location! The artwork of our talented artists will be on display on May 6th from 6:00-8:00PM at The Columns Banquet Center 2221 Transit Rd. Elma, NY 14059. No tickets required.
· Danny’s Helping Hands will have school supplies for the next school year for those in need. For more information: https://www.iroquoiscsd.org/family-support-center/dannys-helping-hands/school-supplies-assistance.

Our boys modified baseball team played the school’s first ever game on our new baseball field last Thursday and ended the game with a win. We had lots of great reviews on how nice the field looked. Thank you to our grounds department for creating this new facility for our teams.
The Varsity Club is looking forward to bringing back a Senior Athletic Banquet to recognize our athletes’ accomplishments. Please look for an invite to come out in the next week or so. Looking to get a large response from athletes and families so that we can make this happen. Senior athletes have received information via teams and email to vote for the Red Hawk Pride award and to turn in their Athletic Credit Verification forms.
