Dear Iroquois Family,

Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of May 12th:

With spring in full swing, we’re excited to invite you to several upcoming events that highlight the incredible talents and dedication of our students:

Board of Education 

·         Budget Hearing & Board MeetingTuesday, May 13
The Annual Budget Hearing begins at 6:30 PM in the Middle School, followed by the Board of Education Meeting at 7:00 PM. We encourage everyone to attend. If you can’t join us in person, both events will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel:

·         📚 Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
Best of luck to our high school students currently taking AP exams! We’re proud of your hard work and commitment.

 

·         💚 Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This year’s theme, “In Every Story, There’s Strength,” reminds us of the importance of supporting one another through open conversation and understanding. Learn more at NAMI Mental Health Awareness Month.

 

·         🚶‍♀️ Miles for Mental Health Walk-a-Thon
The Character Counts Club invites you to the 4th Annual Walk-a-Thon:

o    Friday, May 16 – For Main Campus Students

o    Saturday, May 17 (12–2 PM) – For Community Members on the Athletic Field

🏅 Senior Athletes – Important Information

  • The Varsity Club is bringing back the Senior Athletic Banquet to celebrate our student-athletes’ accomplishments. Keep an eye out for an invitation coming soon! We’re hoping for a strong turnout from athletes and their families to make this event a success.
  • Senior athletes have received information via TEAMS and email regarding the Red Hawk Pride Award vote and Athletic Credit Verification forms. These are due Friday, May 16.
  • Congratulations to all of our senior athletes who celebrated their Senior Nights last week—and to those who will be honored in the coming days. We are so proud of you!
