Dear Iroquois Family,
Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of February 2, 2026:
Board of Education
The Board of Education will meet this Wednesday, February 4th at 7:00 PM in the Middle School STEM Room. The presentation to the Board this month will be centered on the students’ results from the New State Report Card. The Board will be comparing our results against selected other WNY school districts.
If you are unavailable to attend in person, the meetings are always broadcast live on the District website.
Family Support Center News
Please join us at our next Kinship Support Group meeting on February 12th from 6pm-7pm at Grace in the Community. This group will inform grandparents and caregivers about available benefits and services such as stipends, food and clothing resources, childcare, and legal rights while providing them a supportive space to meet and interact with other members of the Iroquois and Alden community.

FYI
New York State modified its regulations on lead in drinking water making it more restrictive. Iroquois completed testing of all the drinking water locations within the District (122 separate locations). The results identified 11 locations that did not meet the requirements. Of the 11, five have already been remediated and awaiting the results of new testing. The remaining six are currently in the process of remediation. Access to these 11 have been restricted until appropriate test results are received. The Test Results and Remedial Action Plan will be posted on the District Website: https://www.iroquoiscsd.org/our-district/state-required-documents.
