Superintendent's Message 09/15/2025

Dear Iroquois Family,

Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of September 15th:

Board of Education

The Monthly Board of Education meeting will be held at 7 pm in the Middle School.  This week the Board will be discussing the NYS School Board Association’s resolutions that will be presented to the NYS Governor, Legislatures and Department of Education to improve education. The Board will also have a presentation on what is in the NYS School Report Card.  The following months will have Building and District data presented.

Please remember if you cannot attend in person, all meetings are live-streamed, and recordings are posted to the Iroquois website.

Capital Project

The proposed 2025 Capital Project continues to move forward.  This month the Board of Education will be formally adopting the resolution to be voted on by the public.  The public vote will be held on November 18th in the II Gymnasium.  This project is being referred to as the “Warm and Dry” project because it is replacing heating systems at Wales and Marilla in addition to replacing roofs at the High School and Wales.  Please visit the Iroquois website for additional information.

Mark the vote date (November 18th) on your calendars because your vote is important.
