The Middle School Library supports our community of learners and staff members by
allowing intellectual access to information in a variety of formats with diverse ideas and
viewpoints. The library, under the direction of a teacher librarian, provides instruction to foster
competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas.

    The Goals of the Library:

Provide intellectual and physical access to materials in a variety of formats.

Improve the fluency and stamina of student reading through exposure to both fiction and
informational texts for success in and beyond the classroom.

Promote student use of textual evidence in writing responses.

Work with educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
The Iroquois Middle School Library is Online and Open 24/7!
