1/30/2023 Superintendent's Message

Dear Iroquois Family,

Good afternoon and here is important information for you for the week of January 30th.

Middle School

On Saturday, I attended the Middle School Drama Club’s production of Frozen Jr.  Congratulations to the entire cast for their outstanding performance.  The performance had me on the edge of my seat.  The most touching moment was when the cast invited “young princesses” onto the stage for photographers. Great job everyone.

High School

The High School students wrote and illustrated thank you notes to the custodial and grounds teams who have been working hard to keep our sidewalks and parking lots clear all winter. Student leaders from Key Club made the notes into wall hangings and delivered them. Iroquois is special and students practicing gratitude is a great example.

High School and Middle School

Today is the first day of the second semester.  It also means we are halfway through the school year.  Please be sure to congratulate your children on their successes.  Iroquois is always thankful for all the support parents provide their children to make sure they have the best educational experience possible.

Music Department

Three incredibly talented singers from the Iroquois High School Choral program were hand selected to participate in the newly rebooted "Aspiring Voices" program associated with the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus and Orchestra.  Joey, Aurelia and Caley had the incredible and rare opportunity to perform Mozart's Coronation Mass in C this past weekend at Kleinhans Music Hall, under the baton of the renowned conductor JoAnn Falletta.  These Iroquois music students once again represented our district and department in the most outstanding way possible and had an impactful and profound experience!  Department Chair and Choral Director Mr. Gastle is so very proud of these outstanding young musicians!  Congratulations!
