Good afternoon, here is important information for the week of May 22^nd.

Budget Vote Results

On behalf of the Iroquois Central School District, we would like to extend our appreciation to everyone who took  time to vote on the school budget. Because our budget for the 2023-2024 school year was approved by a vote of 735 to 228, we will be able to maintain the educational programs and services that make Iroquois a destination district in Western New York. We are fortunate to live in a community that values and supports education.

 Please join me in congratulating Heather Becker and Keith Vergien as our new school board members. We are appreciative of their commitment to serving the Iroquois community. They begin July 1^st.

I would also like to thank retiring board members, Sharon Szeglowski and Louise Toth for their years of dedication and service. Their insight helped provide the foundation of Iroquois being a premiere instructional institution.

Strategic Plan

One key aspect of the Strategic Plan is to actively seek feedback from all stakeholders in the Iroquois community.  The annual survey will soon be posted to our website so students, employees, parents and community members can participate in the annual survey to provide feedback on key areas.  I will include the link in an upcoming Monday message when it is active. Your active participation is crucial. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Athletics

Congratulations to Adam Cichowski for competing in the golf sectional competition and finishing 2^nd overall.  Adam finished tied for the lead after 27 holes and lost on the 3^rd playoff hole.  He represented our school well and his fine play solidified his spot to represent Section VI at the state championship.  Congratulations Adam!
