Hello Iroquois Middle School Families. Please see below with some news and information.

News Worth Sharing:

-Progress Reports: Grades 6-8 progress reports have been posted to the portal.

- It Takes a Community Coalition (ITAC) is hosting a Health and Wellness Fair on March 16, 2024 in the gymnasium at the High School from 10am-1pm. Click on the link to their website for complete details:

-Spring Pictures are scheduled for Tuesday, March 19.  Orders forms were distributed to students this week.  If you are ordering a package, please check your child’s backpack for the order form or order online at:   Code:  EVTRFQ4JX

- MSA Sponsored “Coin Wars”: Our MSA is sponsoring a “coin war” the week of 3/18 – 3/22/24 to raise funds for field trips, student activities, etc.  Every day of the week students can bring in different coins. Prizes will be handed out. 

Monday 3/18:             Bring in your pennies

Tuesday 3/19:             Bring in your nickels

Wednesday 3/20:        Bring in your dimes

Thursday 3/21:            Bring in your quarters

Friday 3/22:                Bring in paper money/checks (Checks made out to Iroquois MSA)


-State Assessments:  State assessments will be starting in April.  ELA (grades 5-8)will be on April 10-11th, Math (grades 5-8)will be on April 24-25th, and Science (grade 5 and grade 8 only) will be April 29-30th. All opt-out requests must be submitted by March 28th.  This will allow us time for the preparation of administering the assessments.  For more information click on the link: State Assessment Letter to Parents

June 18:           Early Dismissal 11:00 a.m. grades 5-8

                        8th Grade MOD Rehearsal, Student Activities

June 19:           Juneteenth Holiday – no school for students

June 20:           Early Dismissal 11:00 a.m. grades 5-8

June 21:           8th Grade MOD ceremony 9:00 a.m.

                        Early Dismissal 11:00 a.m. grades 5-8

                        Last day for students
