Greetings, Elma Primary Families.

We are underway making final preparations for our Holiday Spirit Week next week.  For details on each of our theme days, you can view this Holiday Spirt Week Calendar on our homepage.

Mrs. Szablewski and our students have been hard at work rehearsing for our Holiday Sing-Along concerts, which we will host on Monday, December 19^th.  We ask that you take note of a few reminders below if you are planning on visiting for the performances.

• For our K-1 concert at 9:15 AM, we ask that families wait to use our parking lots until 8:55, so that all buses and cars dropping off students have been able to clear out.  Families will be allowed to enter the building at that time.  Again, due to the size of our Kindergarten and First Grade classes, we ask that only two guests per child attend this performance.

• For each of our other performances (4^th grade at 10:15 AM and 2^nd & 3^rd grade at 2:00 PM) doors will open 15 minutes prior to the performances.

• If you have a child in 2^nd or 3^rd grade and would like to take them home with you at the conclusion of their performance, we ask that you send in a note with your child indicating this.  If any siblings will be going home with you at that time, please send in a note with them as well.  We will go over details for meeting up with your children and signing them out at the performance.

On the morning of Tuesday, December 20^th, all of our students will be participating in the Holly Hanging Tour at the High School.  We are excited to bring back this tradition that builds community by connecting our youngest students with our oldest students.  Thank you to the High School for hosting us.

Elma students will also have the opportunity to celebrate the holiday season with class parties throughout the week, and we look forward to a pajama day to wrap up the week in comfort and style on Friday, December 23^rd.  As a reminder, we have an early dismissal scheduled for 11:00 AM on the 23^rd.  Students who are being picked up will be dismissed beginning at 10:35 AM and buses will depart at 11:00 AM.
