Mrs. Stanfield's Message February 10, 2023
Dear Marilla Primary & UPK Families -
The next phase of our new mass notification system is automated attendance messaging. The new system automatically generates the phone calls based on attendance information entered into eSchool, our student information system. To prevent an absence call from automatically generating, we ask that parents and guardians call our school nurse, Mrs. Feneziani , no later than 9:30 AM to report their student absent or tardy. Attendance calls from the new system are scheduled to begin the week of February 27th.
Thank you to everyone who supported our PTO Coin Bowl! The PTO collected the coin donations each day and we will announce the winning class who gets to Silly String Mrs. Peresan. If we reach our building goal of $2,275, the PTO will have a surprise for the whole building to celebrate reaching the goal! On behalf of the PTO, thank you for your continued support so that the PTO is able to fund field trips and field day!
It is that time of year again…. UPK and Kindergarten Registration! The District website is updated with registration information. If your child is currently in UPK, families will be receiving a letter asking them to confirm that their child will be continuing at Iroquois Schools for kindergarten in the Fall - 2023-2024 school year. If so, you do not need to register your child. Your child’s file will be sent over to the primary school they will attend in June. Please be sure to contact Heidi Fairhead if any contact information has changed.
A reminder that next Friday, February 17th, there will be no school due to a Superintendent’s Conference Day.
Enjoy your weekend,
Amy Stanfield
