Attendance Policy

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

In an effort to avoid confusion and misunderstanding regarding attendance for Driver Education, the following notification is being provided. Driver Education is a serious time commitment. Do NOT sign up for Driver Ed if you know you will be missing class for ANY reason (including but not limited to academic events, athletic events, religious events, family vacation, employment obligations, etc.).  Attendance is mandatory. This is a New York State Department of Education requirement. Students must communicate directly with the instructor with any questions/issues regarding attendance. Please be advised students that do not satisfy the minimum 48-hour requirement will not be eligible to receive the MV-285 Certificate of Completion (no refund). In the event of unexpected cancelations or delays, Iroquois reserves the right to add dates and/or time as needed in order to meet the state required hours of instruction.

If you will not be able to adhere to the attendance requirements, you must withdraw your registration from the program before it begins. You are entitled to a full refund (less online credit card/echeck transaction fee if applicable) if you withdraw your registration by the designated date (Session 1: by 10:00am on June 24th, Session 2: by 10:00am on July 20th).  There are NO refunds once the session has begun regardless of the reason.
